Christian Twite Music is now Look Past The Rain
We dedicate this website to our son, Christian John Twite, who passed away by suicide on May 5, 2018. The title of our site comes from the title of Christian’s last song on his album The Notebooks. "Look Past The Rain" was a very special song to Christian. The message in his lyrics reminds each of us to look beyond the storms of life and discover the rainbow within. The t-shirt and sticker logo were designed after Christian’s sunflower neck tattoo which included the words, Look Past The Rain. If you look closely at the center of the sunflower logo, you will see the colors of the rainbow. The colors are subtle, but nevertheless, they are there. Isn't that the way life is sometimes? When the days are rainy, and it seems the sun will never shine again, it may be almost impossible to see the color and light in our surroundings and our situations. If we but only try to look past the rain and search for the beauty in the midst of our storms, we often are able to discover hope and gather the strength to seek the light of another and the sunlight of a new day. Christian wrestled with anxiety and depression and fought hard to keep going. He truly was a warrior who battled valiantly. With great purpose, we carry his positive message forward to help others who are fighting their own mental health battles. Look Past The Rain has become a motto adopted by not only Christian’s family and friends, but so many others who have listened to his song. Please share this motto in honor of Christian’s memory and spread his message of hope. If “Look Past The Rain” can encourage and bring hope to one person to stay another day, then our mission is a success. We invite you to join us on our journey of life after loss, rediscovering joy, and remembering how often it is in the simplest things in life that we discover the sweetest moments.
On March 8th, 2019, Christian Twite - The Notebooks was released. This is Christian's gift to the world. This album was his dream, his passion, and will forever be his legacy. May the messages in his words inspire, strengthen, and resonate with all who listen. He wanted nothing more than to help others through his music.
